About Maria
Maria joined Martin Shepherd Solicitors in 2018, bringing with her over 23 years of experience in family law from a Tottenham firm where she managed her own caseload. She began her legal career in the litigation department straight after completing her A levels, later achieving her Institute of Legal Executives Level 6 Diploma in Family Law in 2006. In addition, Maria has 7 years’ experience in residential conveyancing, but her true passion lies in supporting clients through family law matters with understanding and care.

Maria is approachable, compassionate, and practical. Often the first point of contact for family law enquiries, she ensures clients feel listened to, respected, and supported from the very beginning. Whether arranging an urgent consultation or offering initial guidance, she treats every client as an individual.
